Perceptions of Risk of Noncommunicable Diseases Associated with Overweight and Obesity among Individuals Living in Diepsloot Informal Settlement, Johannesburg, South Africa
Abstract:
Chronic
non-communicable diseases are a major contributor to the burden of disease in
developed countries, and are increasing rapidly in developing countries. The
purpose of the study was to explain and predict health behavior by focusing on
the attitudes and beliefs of informal settlement dwellers.
